At Chef on the Block, we take pride in delivering our handcrafted products—including hot sauces, Jamaican-style cheesy beef patties, and ginger shots—fresh and on time. Please review our shipping policy below.


1. Shipping Locations

We currently ship to:

  • All provinces and territories within Canada

If you’re outside Canada and wish to order, please contact us at support@chefontheblock.ca.


2. Processing Time

  • Orders are processed within 1–3 business days after payment is confirmed.

  • Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed on the next business day.

  • Perishable items (like patties) may only be shipped on specific days to ensure freshness and proper handling.


3. Shipping Methods & Delivery Times

We use trusted Canadian carriers such as Canada Post, UPS, or Purolator.

Estimated delivery times:

  • Local (within Ontario): 1–3 business days

  • National (other provinces): 3–7 business days

Please note: Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to carrier delays, weather, or holiday volume.


4. Shipping Rates

  • Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your location and order weight.

  • Free shipping may be available on qualifying orders (e.g., over $75 CAD). Promotional free shipping thresholds will be clearly mentioned on our site if available.


5. Perishable Items

  • Jamaican-style cheesy beef patties and ginger shots are perishable and must be handled with care.

  • These items may be shipped only on Mondays or Tuesdays to avoid weekend delays.

  • All perishable items are packed with insulation and may include ice packs where required.

We are not responsible for items left outside or delayed due to incorrect shipping addresses.


6. Order Tracking

Once your order is shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking number.
You can track your order via the carrier’s website.


7. Incorrect or Incomplete Addresses

Please ensure your shipping address is accurate.
We are not responsible for:

  • Delays caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses

  • Lost packages due to wrong address entry
    If a package is returned to us, the reshipping fee will be the customer’s responsibility.


8. Damaged or Missing Items

If your order arrives:

  • Damaged

  • Incomplete

  • Wrong

Please contact us at support@chefontheblock.ca within 48 hours of delivery. Include your order number and a photo of the item/box for resolution.
